Warcraft 3 Patch 1.30.2 errors, bugs & current status

Important info: Battle.net is having a lot issues and bugs right now! Keep in mind that this is a road to go, to reach a better and advanced Warcraft 3 Reforged. Blizzard is on it & tries to fix all bugs and to improve the game.

Here are some of the current issues if you update to WC3 1.30.2:

It is hard to find ladder games in the battle.net right now, the ELO players get queued with is too tight, Blizzard will update this issue.
All Hostbots are disabled/can’t create games like before. This makes it harder to play custom games right now.
Players get kicked out of games, or after the game with a critical error.
The installation process is not clear, most players are confused. Read below how to install.

Update: On the 03.12.2018 Blizzard released a server update for the Warcraft 3 game servers to especially fix the broken matchmaking and chat issues.

Update: On the 05.12.2018 Blizzard released Warcraft 3 Patch 1.30.2.11 which allows to play ladder normally. yeah

Update: On the 07.12.2018 Blizzard released Warcraft 3 Patch 1.30.2 Hotfix 3.

Hotfix 3: Here you can see the new changes:

AT (Arranged Team) in WC3 still needs Portfowarding, but they want to update this soon.
Blizzard is aware of the issue of joining games around 1200 PST and are actively investigating the problem.
Tab focus on custom games menu.
Fixed bug causing one of the desync’s.
Joining a game no longer results in double game join.
Players joining after a computer slot will not fail to start the game.
Players no longer need to join games twice.
Improved desync check in attempt to reduce number of desyncs.

WC3 Patch 1.30.2 Installation Step by Step guide

Step 1 Download the Warcraft 3 Installer 1.30.2.
Step 2 You can uninstall Warcraft 3 before if you want, or install 1.30.2 as a “repair”.
Step 3 Wait until the installation process is finished.
Step 4 You can use Warcraft 3 Legacy CD Keys or the Warcraft 3 Reforged verificiation.

Tauren Totem (Building):
Base Stats: HP reduced from 1200 to 900.

Undead Changelog:

Base Stats: Movement speed reduced from 250 to 235.

Human Changelog:

Brilliance Aura: Level 3 mana regeneration increased from 1.75 to 2.00 per second.

Bloodmage:
Flamestrike: Reduced casting delay from 1.33 to .9 on all levels.

Priest:
Base Stats: Mana regeneration increased from 0.67 to 0.72.

Spellbreaker:
Tech Tree: Control Magic now requires Keep instead of Castle.
Control Magic: Control Magic mana requirement reduced from 45% of enemy HP to 35% of enemy HP.

Other changes:
Cannon Tower: Base Stats: Build time reduced from 75s to 65s and gold costs reduced from 200 to 150.

Force of Nature: Treant damage reduced from 16 to 15.
Entangling Roots: Level 2: Duration reduced from 5 to 4 seconds, Level 3: Duration reduced from 7 to 6 seconds.

Warden:
Base Stats: +1 Ingelligence.

Huntress:
Base Stats: Decreased base damage from 16 to 15 (17-19 to 16-18).

Druid of the Talon:
Base Stats: Gold costs reduced from 150 to 145.

Glaive Thrower:
Base Stats: Base damage decreased from 50 to 44

Sentinel: Sentinel is now an upgrade again. 100/100 cost, 20 second research, on Ancient of War, requires Hunters Hall, no longer requires Tree of Ages
Duration increased from 3 minutes to 5 minutes.

Several bug fixes
Warcraft 3 Reforged Pre-Purchase and Warcraft 3 Legacy Key Support.
Lobby name filter and map name filter prefix.
Map Download cloud download & Game lobby is hosted in the cloud in closest supported data center to host.
Host leaving will not end game.
Hosts have * next to their name.
All custom games from all gateways are now visible in the lobby browser
Port forwarding is no longer required to host your favorite map for custom games
Updated custom game listing to have all games (for filtering) but list still shows the first 100 games
Added region filter to custom game filter
Added auto refresh of game information if less than 100 games on list
Custom games that are full or cannot be joined are grayed out on games list (refresh to remove)
Added kick and ban to player menu
Limited color menu to selectable colors
For arranged forces, changing player color will change player slot in game list
Latency is shown on the right side of player list
Improved peer-to-peer map transfer to increase download speed

Known Issues:

If the host leaves a Warcraft 3 custom game it still can remove other players (will be fixed).
Custom Hero Survival has a desync with random ability related to legacy code.
!ban command is not functioning when typed but does function from the drop down menu.
Instantly joining a WC3 custom game after it is created will cause errors and prevent the game from being listed for a period of time.
If the host leaves a LAN game all remaining players will instantly be taken to the score screen.
Leaving and rejoining a lobby with full observers can cause a crash if at least one player is on a Mac.
Players may become desynchronized when a custom game starts using The Third War Reborn<./li>

Warcraft 3 Patch 1.30.2 Opinion – Good or Not?

What do you think of Patch 1.30.2 for Warcraft 3 The Frozen Throne and Reign of Chaos? Yes it is bad that we got some big problems now, and yes it is bullshit that you can not play like before, but it has a reason. I’ve seen so many people complaining about the stuff Blizzard is doing, just because they can’t do something just right now.
Guys you have to see the bigger path and to accept the new changes for a great new game!

Can someone help me, I just downloaded this patch and it automatically goes to reforged I want to play the classic game so I can play the custom campaigns. What do I from here?

Ya no me permite editar el archivo War3Patch.mpq con el MPQ Editor. Al intentar guardar lso cambios me dice Parametro no correcto. Alguna solucion?

When I open War3 itself, it works; however, when I open it with RGC client, it asks for CD. How to fix that problem? Please help!

Doesnt work. Tried to delete the game and install with the 1.30.2 download and it didnt work, tried as repair and it didnt work. tried downloading the version switcher and it couldnt detect my game. what now? can someone help me

if you have a valid cd key you can try to download it on the blizzard page in your account settings

@zzz as written in the text, it is the first step into the direction of Reforged. You can now buy Reforged, activate it via Battle.net and play WC3 online until it is playable as Reforged in the Battle.net Launcher. The updates already prepare the new features of Reforged.

go to a map site (i’d recommend hiveworkshop and “legend of arkain” campaign. Click download. save as the file in the (your drive)/programs files/warcraft3/custom campaign folder.
it might be just campaign folder instead of custom campaign, can’t remember if they changed it

Bro i cant enter any games on 1.30.2 patch when i use 1.30.1 i can see all custom games on local network but now patch broke my game and cant fix it help please
