Hero skins are cosmetic items in Warcraft 3 Reforged, that can be equipped for heroes. Each hero has a default 3d model and the custom skin replaces that model with a new one. This skin model can be used in custom games, multiplayer versus games and in single player matches.

How to use Skins in Warcraft 3 Reforged?

Just hover with the mouse over a skin and hit the checkmark. If you play a game now (custom/versus/singleplayer) the hero skin will replace the default skin. On the image that gets displayed above, you can read for which hero the skin is.
To deactivate the hero skin just remove the checkmark again.

Will there be a price for the Warcraft 3 Reforged Skins?

Blizzard kept this information intern yet, but there will probably be a possibility to buy Warcraft 3 Reforged skins for money.
Some Warcraft 3 fans won’t like it, but in the end, its good for the game: It will support the Blizzard classic team to invest more into WC3 and who has a bought skin, has something special that not many people have. 😉
