How the Diamond Optimizer Works
The tool simulates diamond yield per hour from your version, method (strip/branch/stair/TNT), pickaxe tier, Efficiency/Haste, and Fortune. It ranks Y-levels by realistic drops/h, flags lava risk, and suggests a safer alternative (e.g., β58 instead of β59) if your priority is fewer lava interruptions.
Example: Max the Minecraft Player
Max mines on 1.21 with a Netherite pick, Efficiency V, no Haste, Fortune III. The tool recommends Y β59 (Strip) for ~25.7 diamonds/h. Max prefers fewer lava lakes, so he takes the safe alternative Y β58, losing ~1.3 d/h but saving time on bucket duty.
